About Us
Hello! We are Brian Schkeryantz and Eric Petschauer, the owners of Doug Palmer Electric. Not only are we business partners at Doug Palmer Electric but we are also family (Brian is married to Eric’s sister). We are delighted to lead a company which has served Lane County's residential and commercial electrical needs for over 30 years. We've made it our mission to maintain and expand this business's sterling reputation for high-quality work and customer service. You have our pledge that we will always take the best possible care of our customers.
We purchased Doug Palmer Electric in 2025 for a few key reasons. First, we know a good business when we see one as the owners of Emerald Excavating and Ehlers Construction, which are both long-standing pillars in the Eugene community. Second, we've always been fascinated by electrical processes, equipment, tools, and technologies. Third, we place a high priority on providing safe, high-quality work, and Doug Palmer Electric had a fantastic track record in that department with experienced, long-tenured journeyman electricians on staff.
For us, customer service matters just as much as the quality of the actual work. That means working responsibly and delivering timely results. We understand that when you contact us for electrical service, you're probably experiencing a stressful time and you want a fast, reliable, high-quality response. We want you (all of Lane County) to see us as your 24/7 "go-to guys," whether you have an electrical emergency or you just want to renovate your current electrical system. In short, we care about treating our customers right, even as we also maintain a safe, supportive workplace for our technicians.
We love the Eugene, Oregon area. It has a genuine small-town feel, all four seasons, and strong support for the small business community. In addition to helping support the business scene, we are strong advocates and supporters of the community at large through our sponsorship of local organizations like 4H/FFA where we buy cows each year at the youth livestock auction and youth sporting programs like the McKenzie River Mat Club. Eugene is a great place to live -- and it deserves a great electrical services provider!
